Taking a Closer Look at the 2021 Ford Ranger

The Ford Ranger was introduced in 1983 to respond to the demand for a smaller truck compared to the Ford F-150. It was well received and enjoyed strong performances until 2011, the last model year before Ford paused its production.

The break was later vindicated after the re-emergence of the Ford Ranger in 2019. It shifted from a compact to a mid-size pickup and received immediate recognition, and currently ranks as one of the best-selling trucks in the U.S.

Pricing

The XL is the base Ford Ranger, and it is fitted with a standard 2.3L EcoBoost engine and a 10-speed automatic transmission. The XLT

New Features

There’s a new Black appearance package that is exclusively available for the new 2021 models. It also features black 18-inch wheels, black oval Ford badges, new bedside decals, and a matching black grille.  Ford has also made four new extra colors for buyers, including Cyber Orange, Cactus Gray, Carbonized Gray, and Velocity Blue.
